National Night Out

A NNO Marketing photo compressed.jpg

This annual event began in 1984 as a means to promote partnerships between law enforcement and the community so residents could become more aware of local safety initiatives and how to get involved. Drug Prevention programs as well as Neighborhood Block Watch programs have evolved and increased significantly as a result.

Over the years, the event has grown, and several other public service agencies have joined in to support this safety awareness effort. Eastside Fire & Rescue (EF&R) is dedicated to the community it serves and providing excellence in service. In coordination with the National Night Out celebration, EF&R firefighters will be driving fire engines to events in their local neighborhoods to interact with the community and provide education pertaining to fire safety issues. For residents living within Fire Districts 10 and 38, they will be on hand to answer questions you may have regarding the current initiative to form a Regional Fire Authority.

We truly appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you.
